POSSESSING YOUR MIND
There has been an on-going battle over the mind of man. The battle is for the control of his or her thoughts, leading to his or her actions. It is necessary for us to discover how we deal with the thoughts that come at us.
Man has been trying to direct his thoughts, to make them acceptable to himself and others for a long time. You may be struggling, you may be calling for help, but until you realize where the thoughts come from, you cannot do anything about them. Don’t let your thoughts control you, but you control them!
The Word of God gives you the solution to the problems that you face in your thought life. God knows that you have problems with your thoughts. He knows that you sometimes allow the flesh and Satan to get in the way of the Spirit working in your life. If you want to gain the victory, and as the Word says, “bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,” you will have to trust in the Word and rely on God for help. God will help you overcome the area that is trying to overcome you.
